CaraMayan Introduction

This was the first DVD filmed and so this introduction is for CaraMayan as a way of meditating and moving and not just for this selection.

Warm-up

Introduction and Teaching

Meditation

The Warm-up introduces movements that are frequently used in the meditations and in a sequence that warms up the body. As there are no words, it is easier to concentrate specifically on the technique.

The Lord’s Prayer – Matthew 6:9-13

Introduction

Teaching

Meditation

This prayer is so well know that it is easy to say it without entering into the meaning. Movements which are an expression of the meaning can help us to experience the prayer more fully. The music that is used does not set the pace of the movements so you can move at a pace that suits you best or can choose other music if you prefer.

The Earth is the Lord’s – Psalm 24

Introduction to the psalm

Teaching

Meditation

Psalm 24 starts with the declaration that the earth belongs to God and then looks at how we can enter God’s presence and receive a blessing from the Lord of Glory.

Crossroads – Jeremiah 6:16 and 29:11

Introduction

Teaching

Meditation

We need to ask for well tried wisdom in scripture and walk in it, finding rest for our souls. God has a good plan for our lives, plans for a hope and a future.

God made the World – for young children

Introduction

Teaching

Meditation

This is a meditation for young children. It is not from scripture but speaks truths from scripture in children’s language. The movements are simple ones appropriate for children and demonstrated by them.
